Carlos Pedroso — Partner

Carlos Pedroso is a Partner at Sierra Capital, where he oversees the firm’s overall strategy, serves on the investment committee and is a trusted advisor to clients. With a commitment to delivering unbiased and client-first financial solutions, Carlos joined Sierra Capital in 2007 to embrace a more independent approach, allowing for a deeper focus on holistic financial planning and personalized tailored wealth management.

Before Sierra Capital, Carlos honed his skills at JPMorgan Private Bank in New York City, first as an analyst and later as an associate managing Ultra High Net Worth clients from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. He worked with a team managing $6.5 billion in assets. His experience at JPMorgan provided a strong foundation in advising Ultra High Net worth clients, which he has carried into his work at Sierra Capital.

Outside of his work at Sierra Capital, Carlos has a deep passion for athletics. A former World Championship participant and two-time national champion in Olympic Flatwater Kayaking (1998 and 1999), he continues to channel his competitive spirit as an avid marathon runner and cyclist. Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science in Art History with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2004.

After 15 years in New York City, Carlos returned to Miami in 2019, the city where he was raised, to lead Sierra Capital's efforts in South Florida. He now resides in Coral Gables with his wife and their three daughters.
